you probably mistook it for a UFO:Enemy Uknown walkthru <E>:D</E> in those you had like two weapons - plasma and laser, and a bunch of people said to stick ...

well, i'm not quite sure it depends on the size of the vessel; i had a commander in a Scout recovery mission... imagine how surprised i was - i was hoping to gain some XP with the fresh recruits and then bam, the commander wasted 6 of my 8 recruits :)
