RE: No flamethrower icons?

Hum, I just noticed that the icons2d.bmp file works for the Allies Units, but not the Axis. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

RE: MCS User WISHLIST

It would be nice to be able to display AT units just like you can currently display indirect fire units.

RE: MCS User WISHLIST

It would also be nice to have retrograde movement that allows armor to "back up" (reverse gear) without exposing their rear.

RE: MCS User WISHLIST

<t> It would be nice if units could recognize obstacles (such as roadblocks, mine fields) and did not attempt to travel through them. Currently is seems that even when a unit has an obstacle in LOS it will not recognize that it actually costs more action points to move through the obstacle rather ...

RE: Reachable hexes display in night snow scenarios does not function

The 2 D works a tad better, especially if I turn off background lighting. Thanks.

Reachable hexes display in night snow scenarios does not function

The reachable hexes display does not function in night scenarios with snow (e.g., "Midnight Madness" in EF). Does anyone know of a tweak I might try to address this? Thanks.

Brilliant and many thanks, vader!

Now I will just add an extra column to record my win VP margins when I defeat my friend Jeem via PBEM!

<t> No responses on this so I'll drop a line, although it is not too helpful I'm afraid. <br/>

No tips to offer. The situation you describe is how it played when I tried it. I believe it even played that way in the original Talonsoft offering, if memory serves correctly. I suspect it is a ...

RE: No flamethrower icons?

Thanks for the file Warhorse. Where should this file be located in the tree structure?

No flamethrower icons?

The flamethrower icon is not showing up on units with that capability. Is that by design? Thanks.

RE: Artillery Spotting

<t> I agree with those on the side of avoiding the proposed spotting changes. There are other changes that I think would make the game more playable and that would be a better investment in time. For instance, I think it would be a better use of time to improve the AI. One change would be to adjust ...

Thanks for the reply. It could have been one other thing I did around that time. I'll look into that as the cause.

BSOD?

I've run into a Blue Screen of Death after the recent upgrade to 1.03 and am trying to troubleshoot. Anyone else having or hearing about similar problems? Thanks.

RE: v1.03 Update Plan

Thanks for the update. I also noticed that some of the WF scenarios that were included in the previous version are now AWOL (the early Spanish Civil War scenarios). Was this intentional?

RE: MCS User BUGS

<t> I wonder if this bug from the original TS version of the game has been addressed: <br/>

Motorized leaders being played by the AI go back and forth and back and forth and back and forth (you get the idea) between the same two adjacent squares until they use up all their APs. This ...

Concealment values off?

<t> The concealment values in the CS seem to be a bit off. For instance, in the old EFII villages had a concealment value of -3. The game manual for CS also indicates that a village should have a concealment value of -3. Yet when I play actual scenarios from the CS the value for villages is -1 ...

Allies (Russians) played by AI.

Mounted calvary units take opportunity fire on German PVs and get caught in an endless loop (repeat firing, game effectively locks up).[X(]
