How to turn the movement animations off?

I don't want to follow my units when they make long sea movements. It is boring and causes crashing. I also do not want to follow the movements of the PO during her turn.

Can I turn the animations off?

RE: AI problems

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: Curtis Lemay<br/>
The reason the PO rarely gets to Fortified status is because it has to set up attacks just to evaluate them. Most get canceled. But, currently, when attacks are canceled, the units don't return to their previous deployment - they are left in ...

In what order will the units attack?

<t> During the same round I want to attack hex X to cut out a line a of retreat and then attack hex Y to destroy a unit that is then surrounded. However, if the units attack to the hexes in the wrong order the unit escapes. <br/>

The time consumed during attacks?

Would it be possible to see how much of your turn will at least be consumed before you click end turn / resolve attacks?

RE: AI problems

Jamiam, generally it would be better if "Elmer" did not make bombardments / airfield attacks at all. Can this be programmed to scenarios? Also, people surely want that their air staff assistant does not do any attacks.

RE: What is a sucessful scenario?

I have enjoyed scenarios which have good news and events. It can get boring to destroy endless number of divisions when playing against the PO if there is no response as news.

So please put effort to write news, events and a good debriefing!

RE: AI problems

<t> Thanks for your response, JAMiAM. I have noticed that in almost all scenarios the PO loses units because of evaporation and engagement. It wants to move units although it shouldn't and I don't remember any scenario in which it fortifies properly. <br/>

AI problems

<t> The PO seems to do more harm than good to itself in many turns. If you wish to play against a better AI opponent it would sometimes be better to just interrupt its turn and end it before it can make any attacks.<br/>

Some problems I have identified with the "strong" AI:<br/>
