RE: Game for Father (He read Erik's Article)

<t> Maybe your father would benefit more from a boardgame, my suggestion how about Command & Colors : Ancients, after playing this game for awhile he can slowly ease into some of the PC games, the Total War genre I think would probably be a bit much for him I'm 49 and I have these games but never ...

RE: Daughter off to senior ball (sniff sniff)

<t> Hi Mr. Wilson, she's a beautiful little girl, I know how you feel, though we have no children of our own, but we have a goddaughter that we treat like our own, and I still remember when I baptized her she was only a peanut and now she's a 7 year old ball of energy but she still runs to us when ...

RE: DOSBOX

<t> Hey sabre1, I've used this little beauty and I can say the new version is the best version for old DOS games, was able to play 40K Final Liberation with sound and all, Steel Panthers I and II, Avalon Hill's 1830, Avalon Hill's Advanced Civilization, Command and Conquer first iteration, etc. and ...

RE: Business is war

I agree with marcusm, I'd love to see you guys come up with a good business game, a lot of your more popular wargames such as FoF, GoA and to a lesser degree Hornet Leader have some aspects of economics and logistics control. How about it?

RE: Wish List

<t> How about a true step by step tutorial on how the game works, even just using the small scenario, like a majority of the SSI games, as well as the Total War franchise always published. I've had this game for awhile now and I still haven't got passed the small scenario level, which I still don't ...

I think an aar of the basic game should be done. It seems cold to charge a newbie $75 dollars and dump him into FOF without a tutorial<SM sm="00000018.gif">[sm=00000018.gif]</SM>. Makes one ...

AAR for beginners

<t> Is there anyway any one of you learned gentlemen can be persuaded in posting an AAR of the small scenario, with no options playing in tutorial mode, I've played this scenario several times, but can't seem to understand what to do or the strategy to use,I am from New York so I always play the ...
