Did you ever find a solution? I have the same issue running v1.07 build 1487 on Windows 10.

That's disappointing to have to miss out on the new patches. I almost exclusively play small random battles these days. It's not quite the same playing a mission you designed vs playing something that can surprise you.

I'm a bit surprised it was stripped from the game. It was a big selling point for me and others I know. Sure the random battles were.. well.. random.. but they were a good starting point and often were interesting as is for a quick game.

I went ahead and jumped on this as well. I've been eyeing it for almost a year now, but the price and fixed low resolution turned me off. With the sale, the fixed resolution and lack of windowed mode is still a downer, but it seems pretty good so far.

Both War in Russia and Pacific War seem to have a problem with downloading. Are there any mirrors?

EDIT: Whoa, I just realized how old this issue is. Not likely to get solved. Does anyone have this that they might be willing to upload to a dropbox?

I just picked up this game too. So far enjoying learning against the AI. Would be interested in playing by dropbox.

TIR works in 5.02, but is unplayable since assault missions crash the game.
