RE: Land Mines

<t> It would appear so Rick.<br/>
<br/>
So you mentioned a Star Trek mod. Other mods i'm used to involve downloading a file and in most cases, you have a completely new game (like of the Quake mod's I've played). Would this be the case with any mods developed for AT? Would mod developers be able ...

RE: Land Mines

<t> Seille,<br/>
<br/>
It sounds like you're actually making modifications to the game to encompass this idea? I had no idea you could do this...that's great.<br/>

RE: Land Mines

<t> Well, I would think a mine field would have both damage to the unit, and loss of movement points. If you look at it from a "realistic" point of view, a unit traversing a mine field wouldn't know they are on a mine field until the first casulty, so I think some damage is needed. The movement ...

RE: Land Mines

<t> I'm not saying that a hex with a mine field would totally wipe out a unit, but would cause enough damage to cause the player trying to move to pause for fear of further damage. Either that or it would eliminate that units ability to move any further for that turn.<br/>

Perhaps you're ...

RE: Destruction of Cities

So the auto-repair is slow, sure that's great, but I want to leave my buddy's cities in ruins. You know, for the demoralizing, trash-talking affect. [:D]

RE: Destruction of Cities

So what I'm getting is that there's curretly no way to completely destroy a city&nbsp;down to&nbsp;rubles&nbsp;in-game to.&nbsp; Bringing down production down to zero is the best that can be done...and this is only a temporary stage.

Army Organization and Unit Compliment

<t> This topic might be ultra-geeky, but let's face it we are all geeks here. [:)]<br/>
<br/>
I started playing with my buddy a few days after the game was released. We've played several scenarios and while learning all the "ins and outs" of the game I started thinking about how to best organize ...

Destruction of Cities

<t> Can cities be completely destroyed beyond repair, completely erase them off the map?<br/>
<br/>
Some of you are probably asking why would I want to destroy a city instead of using it for resources. One scenario, I can think of, would be the destruction of an enemy city before they can retake ...
