Yea exactly, it's RTS Space Empires on steroids. It's not an MOO 3.1 It has some of SE "spreadsheet in space" feeling and it scared me first. But I seems adjusting eventually.

Weapon testing range - what to do?

I've found weapon testing range with some abandoned ships. What can I do with them? Exploration ships have no effect, attack with fleet was not effective. Should I build some kind of assault shuttles with marines and board them or what?

The problem was the potential colony was not visible in Expansion Planner. I just restarted game and can colonize now. Seems was some kind of bug.

Just started playing and can't figure how to make a new colony. Built colony ship, bought location from pirats, what now? In exploration planning window there is no possible colonies, in colony ship menu no build colony option...

I like to use TD+Medium combo, but I only play vs AI, and not good even at it. But I like nice tactical feel, having mech divisions with medium tanks, and specialized AT brigades with TD and AT-guns .
