RE: New to this Mod -Help Please

<t> I'm glad it all worked!&nbsp; If you get a chance maybe you could let us know what was going on in case this comes up again.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
About the improvements -- agreed.&nbsp; I tried the game without mods -- sort of by accident --&nbsp;and REALLY missed all of the stuff that Bman added ...

RE: New to this Mod -Help Please

<t> No problem.&nbsp; I had a bit of pain myself in getting mods installed, so I know the frustration.&nbsp; Sorry for taking so long in getting back, I had a busy weekend.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
I'd concentrate for now on the multi-media package and Bmans.&nbsp; There are ways to get multiple mods ...

RE: New to this Mod -Help Please

<t> Well, the way I&nbsp;remember doing&nbsp;it was:<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
1) Downloaded and installed the latest patch from Matrix.<br/>
2) Copied the media pack for Bman's into the data directory.<br/>
3) Renamed my system.xbg.<br/>
4) Copied the new one over it.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
Hmmm.&nbsp; No ...

RE: New to this Mod -Help Please

<t> I'll assume you mean Bman's mod?<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
When is it asking for a password?&nbsp; What OS are you playing this on?<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
(I've only been&nbsp;playing the game&nbsp;for a day or so, so if anyone with immense amounts of UFO mod install knowledge is around feel free to take ...

RE: Three Suggestions

<t> Hmmm.&nbsp; On-counter designations&nbsp;would make reorganizing divided units a heck of a lot easier, while also adding a great feeling of gaming authenticity.&nbsp; Great idea.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
Honestly, having unit designations on the counter would probably be more useful&nbsp;to me&nbsp;in ...

RE: Invalid rectangle

<r> Thanks for getting back to me so fast! The map is Afghan village.<br/>
<br/>
I can change the desktop resolution prior to launch but it still crashes at the same spot. Also, changing the desktop resolution doesn't appear to have an effect on the game itself -- it appears to resize to 800x600 ...

Invalid rectangle

<t> Hey guys. I installed CC:MT on my laptop this morning. When I attempted to start a scenario (one of my own making) I got an invalid rectangle error that dropped me to the desktop.<br/>
<br/>
The laptop is a P1510 and has a native resolution of 1024x600, which the post-install setup complained ...

RE: Close Combat: MT Review: No Thanks...

<t> I also bought this on impulse.&nbsp; I am still trying to figure out exactly how I feel about it, but coming from the military version of Close Combat,&nbsp;my initial reaction is&nbsp;disappointment.&nbsp; The TOE feels much more loose after the superbly executed CC:M.&nbsp; The extra maps are ...
