Re: A hybrid map mod

I am excited about the map, but when I load it I only see the oil graphics. Am I missing a step?

Re: Challenge for Allied Vet

I appreciate your looking into it. Since both you and Nomad view it as unworkable, I would certainly trust that analysis. Maybe Scen 22 (Tier 2) or Scen 10 (Tier 1) would work better. I tried RA against a couple of vets and got destroyed in 3 months (That was a couple of years ago and it ended due ...

With the "official version" coming soon, didn't see the urgency to move early.

Re: Challenge for Allied Vet

I might be up for it, I think I could consider myself a vet if I'm 6 for 6 so far, but I'm not familiar with this specific scenario you are suggesting. I looked in the scenario thread in the mod forums but can't find a scen 21, assuming it isn't outrageously biased against the allies I'm ...

Challenge for Allied Vet(CLOSED)

I have really enjoyed studying this game and looking at all the mods done by some very smart people. I have played against the AI somewhat, but the smaller fonts was limiting what I could see. Skacee's new map and Platoonists new icons (and a 40" monitor) have helped that a lot. I love seeing the ...

Re: Easier to see TF map Icons............

Thank You!

Between Skacee's new map and these icons. I can actually see aal the map details. It is a little cluttered in spots, but seeing is more important.

Thanks again.

caine wrote: Fri Aug 12, 2022 8:55 am Just in case, be sure to install ".NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.8", as first I installed ".NET Runtime 6.0.8" but it was not enough. Perhaps that could be your problem.
Thanks that solved the problem.

I had thought of that. I uninstalled everything (Net and the tool) and reinstalled. No difference.

Re: Daily Report Tool

Looks like I must have done something wrong. I am on windows 10.

I downloaded from the link in post 1
Ran the .exe and it asked for Net 6.0
I clicked yes to download
Downloaded and installed.
Re-ran the application and it said I needed NET framework.
I click download and nothing happens

I deleted ...

Re: New Rich info map UPDATED 2

I can only see the "added" symbols (Oil, repair, HI, etc) on the 1942 map. How do I get those symbols on the other maps. I am only looking at Stock at the moment.

Thanks

Never mind. I just realized that it is hard coded and that some maps have the info and some maps don't.

Re: Torpedo supply

For us JFBs... careful loading up your front line HQs with torpedoes... If you need to evac quickly loading torpedoes onto evac ships is not quick. AND they are to large for air transport. I try to keep my torp load to a minimum if I think I may need to evac anytime soon.

Thanks.

Re: Torpedo supply

The only way to arm aircraft with torps is through air hqs using torpedo ordnance and is the same for both sides, 1 torp @ 10 supply.

Best way to do it is to work out how many torp carrying aircraft you have or want, withing range of the air hq and add that number to it's torpedo ordance. Once ...

Re: Torpedo supply

That's all well and good for all you AFB. But how do the Japanese Navy and naval aircraft replace torpedo when only the Army HQs have them? Are they shippable items? Do I pay PP to shift the HQ and then shift it back?

Or the easy way -- Edit the file?
