Any chance of fixing the Replay PBEM bug?

In a 700-Turn marathon, as Allied, the game crashes during the Night Bombing phase.

Also, completely random icons are in the replay - my B-17s are often intercepted by Stirling IIIs etc....

If you can do daylight bombing for Bomber Command (post June '44) that would be great. Bonus points for 3 Group with Gee-H?

Perhaps - but in this wonderful game it shouldn't bomb! ISTR they were not cleared for RPs or carriage of bombs until after VE Day.

Also, you can't change Tempest Vs back to Typhoons!

Take the PBEM I am playing: on the replay screen I cannot tell if my fighter sweeps have destroyed any a/c on the ground. And the replay is laughable: my bombers are escorted by Lancasters or Wellingtons (at least, those are the icons I'm seeing ...

Is there such a thing as a Trading Standards Dept. in the USA?

Buying this game is rather like buying a car with one wheel smaller than the other 3; you can still drive it, but....

Can anyone give me a reasonable explanation as to why I have the icons for Wellingtons, Halifaxes and Stirlings taking the place of escorting fighters in daylight bombing missions?

I've never played PBEM but am prepared to give it a go.

I'm just so glad war didn't end in June! If you do the arithmetic, 700 Turns takes you well into the Autumn of 1945.
