RE: Next project news?

I'll chime in and say that either the Pacific or the Global would be awesome and a day one buy for me.

RE: Time for a new counter MOD

<t> I am a long time admirer of SIPRES work, but this is just next level goodness, simply the finest counter set yet for this game. I look forward to using it and would recommend that Matrix/the developers consider a way to enter these into the actual game files ala the user submitted scenarios that ...

AI is quite competent in 1.12

<t> Sorry - I had a very long post about some incredible choices the AI opponent had made in my first playthough since version 1.03/1.04 - but it gotten eaten by the editor! In any case, The UK taking beating the combined Italian/German forces in Libya and then Tunisia after which they invaded ...

RE: Time for a new counter MOD

Hey SIPRES!

Your counter mod made the game pop for me when I first started playing it, this new set you are working on is evolutionary and organic to the first set. I am looking forward to playing some more campaigns when you get the mod finished, the US looks great.

How extensively did you have to change unit names from your previous 653 mods?

RE: Amazon Prime Controversy

<t> Amazon Prime provides a great service at a reasonable price. It's cheaper than Netflix and provides similar high quality content - including a large amount of educational content as well. It also provides a number of free books every month for download to a tablet, while giving you free 2 day ...

RE: TOAW IV

<t> Honestly, if Larry didn't provide the tidbits he is allowed under the NDA, I would have written this game off long ago as Matrix games second ultimate vaporware project after Battlefields. It's obvious they are making progress, but there has to be a fair amount of work left to do or they would ...

RE: Is this a good game ?

<t> It's an engrossing game, because you aren't focused on "micro mechanics and rules", but on developing and executing national level strategies for your armed forces. You can play the game straight up ( I recommend so for the first play through ) and follow most of the historical choices made by ...

RE: Feature Request: Full Editing

<t> The original Clash of Steel had a much simpler - and in some ways more realistic naval combat mechanic. The various oceans and seas were broken into various "zone boxes" that you moved to from port. Land based aircraft could also be assigned to a "zone box" and used for either search or attack ...

RE: Axis Research Levels for Barbarossa

<t> You might want to watch Paradogs youtube video series marquac, he played through the 1939 Campaign over 25 videos. As I recall, he was consistently buying German infantry corps to enable him to have sufficient units for Barbarossa. While I had sufficient units in my campaign win, I wish I had ...
