RE: No response when trying to download

when I try and register the game using the serial number, it is telling me: [ Key Already Used ]

I have a feeling I just paid 55 bucks for a game I am not going to be able to play.

<t> Hi all,<br/>

Just purchased Strategic Command WWII: War in Europe from Matrix via Amazon. When I enter the DVD into my hard drive, nothing happens. Literally. Zip. No pop ups, nuthin'. I have attached my PC particulars. What am I having a brain cramp about, and not seeing?<br/>

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

Thanks Berto...I will await, patiently, for the update. I got the game back in the late 90's and still have the original manuals, so I guess you could say I am a diehard.

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

I got the same thing Nick got. While i was VERY happy to see a new patch (to me that means the game is still popular and people play as much as I! yay!), does this mean I cant play a campaign series until 2016?? oh no!

Those poor, poor Russians

<t> Playing the Barbarosa North campaign as the Russians, up to December/1943. My question is, do the Russians EVER get any tanks better than the Mark IV's? Otherwise, i may as well not bother playing much further, as the Germans have plenty of Panzer IVF2's, V's, and VIE's. And Lord knows the ...

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

<t> It didnt seem to be specific, if i recall. Just stated something about a bitmap error and the game would not be able to conitnue. What i saw was that everytime i tried to play the scenario, it would give me the same error at the same time. What i ended up doing is playing the scenario, but then ...

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

<t> Well, I am back. It looks like the game just doesnt want me to finish. I have played a couple times as the Germans in East Front 'Barbarossa South' campaign and it seems to shut down about mid 1943, even though I am playing with the updated versions. So i figured i would play as the russians. I ...

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

<t> aha! I DO see that, Scott, when it comes time to select I have the opportunity to select talonsoft or MCS. I dont recall which one i selected for the one I am playing now. I went into the files and couldnt see anything that would give me a clue. But I would imagine it would be best to make sure ...

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

<r> It did it again after i played the next campaign, and this time when i hit the 'restore commander' (or whatever the button is) it was ok again. Even thought I didnt die.<br/>

For future reference, regarding what Scott said, ' select the org in the Campaign', if i go in and restart ...

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

Well, I am not sure what happened, but I went into the 'play scenario' area, the exited out, then went back into 'play campaign' and hit 'resume' and now everything is back to normal. Guess we will see what happens from here!

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

Hi Scott,

I will assume it is the Matrix org, as I purchased/downloaded the game only a couple of weeks ago and the video/intro has the Matrix logo in it.

RE: Are you having Campaign Problems?

<r> Hello!<br/>
<br/>
Purchased the Campaign Series a few weeks ago to get reaquainted with an 'old friend', but now I have a problem and was hoping somebody could help me out. Playing 'East Front' as the Germans, I have gotten to august of '43. But now it wont let me move to the next battle. I ...

RE: Former MIlitary Here???

<t> What a great thread! The pictures really drive home the humanization of war, and how it isnt just numbers, but people's fathers, sons, and grandfathers plus now wives and sisters and mothers. Too bad that great games such as what he have to play arent the only wars that there are to be fought ...

<t> I have played the East Front II/Fall of the Reich, Sea Lion, West Front, and Rising Sun campaign series games in the past and thoroughly enjoyed them. I figured I would give TOAWIII a chance and looked eagerly to nights when i would lose track of time while playing. Sorry to say, i am completely ...

RE: this may take a few seconds...

<t> well, it appears that everything is going to be working okaly-dokaly. Takes about 35-45 seconds for it to load 'Cobra' after i select the scenario, but i can live with that. Hopefuly that is the worse case scenario, so to speak. Meanwhile, my rust shows as i try and play sans looking at rules ...

this may take a few seconds...

<t> Hi all..long time listener, first time caller [:D]<br/>
<br/>
Just downloaded TOAW III today and when i run it, it goes thru all the intro stuff seemingly fine. Then when pick a scenario to play (i.e. France 1944 Cobra) it goes to a black screen that says 'This may take a few seconds...'. Only ...
