For WW 2 it's a toss up between the T34 and the Sherman. I firmly believe the Abrams is the best of the modern era.

What about Kurt Knipsel? He had 168 kills, MIchel Wittman had 138. It would seem to me that politics had a great deal to do with wha got recognition and who didn'td.
