Sure! I'll send a save file through email. When I try to attach it here, I am told the file extension is invalid. I suppose I could just change the save file's extension to one that is supported, but email seems the simpler solution.

After a battle is clearly finished, the battle report will continue showing the Pause option.

I believe this is a bug and possibly related to the Show Details option not appearing in the battle report.

After concluding a battle, the battle report does not display a Show Details option. The game manual discusses and includes screenshots showing this option.

What do I need to do if I follow the link to the instructions to get a Steam key, login, and get a message telling me "You are not authorised to read this forum?"

Well, there's not much more to say than I'd like an Operation Coronet scenario. Is there one out there, or any interest in (helping?) design one?
