Curious what criteria is used to determine when a beta is released to steam as well as here? The last beta release to steam was 1243.5.

I could be wrong, but afaik the owners of the Matrixgames version need to apply the beta patches manually as well, there is no difference to the Steam version. There is an opt in for beta on steam. They only release the beta for the major updates there about a week prior, not the incremental builds...

The updates through steam aren't as frequent and trying to apply them manually over steam isn't 100% successful every time. Before reinstalling do a repair/file verify on Steam and then reapply the update and let me know if that works. That'll bring any modified files back to their original state and grab any missing or incomplete ones. It'll essentially solve most of what a reinstall would without having to go through ...

I use the steam version and it doesn't show the update yet. I D/L here and attempted to install manually and when I run the installer I get a CMO not installed error... [:@]
