RE: Future Plans

You remind me of the man who told me:

"My grandfather had the same sweeping brush for 50 years.

It had 20 new heads and 15 new handles. He loved that brush."

RE: CFNA 1940-43 warspite1 (Axis) vs RichMunn (CW)

<t> Hi all<br/>
<br/>
I was very happy after 2 turns. But I then realised (and this is unforgivable) that the 3 hexes had to be taken in turn, ie El Hahmra by turn 3, then Sofafi by turn 4, then Sidi Barrani by turn 5. <br/>
<br/>
So at turn 3 I went hell-for-leather for El Hamhra, and in so ...

RE: CFNA 1940-43 devoncop (Axis) vs warspite1 (CW)

Sorry to intervene but Warspite I tried to send you a PM apologising for my tardy response in our game (I hope to do it tomorrow) and it told me the message was undeliverable because your PM storage was full.

Just thought you'd like to know!

Cheers

RE: Saving a PBEM++ Game

I am afraid I have consulted my PM inbox and find 2 messages, both from 2008!

It's not (obviously!) something with which I am familiar. Where am I going wrong?

Cheers

It is how I save PBEM games when, as usual, I don't have time to complete a turn in one go. There are no bells and whistles, but when I return to the game the server puts me back where I was. I am ...

Click out with the top right X - you then get the option to save and close. It works for me. I presume this is through the server.

Oops, daft error. It wasn't unit viewer!

I'll try what you suggest, as you were quite correct about the installation on C. Thanks. I'll let you know what happens.

Oddly enough, though I have played JTCS for years, I have decided to play through all the bootcamps with the assistance of the manual to "brush up" and learn the new aspects of this game. Like a refresher course. Even Bootcamp 1 is useful! And the new graphics ...

RE: Unit Viewer Not Working

I am not being allowed to delete the '2.0" in the Settings text. It says I need admin rights but I can't do this task as administrator and when I delete 2.0 and try to save the change I am not allowed to do so.

Any suggestions? I like using the Unit Viewer!

Believe me Harrybanana's advice is for very intelligent dummies.

But it's very good.

There is no way to have simple advice in this game, or any Grigsby for that matter.

RE: How the Axis could have won. Allied AAR RTW

<t> <br/>
Warspite 1, your AAR was an inspiration to a player who would love to get into this sort of game but has tried and not quite got on with (despite several attempts) WITE, WITW, DCB (which approached this for accessibility) and even WITP-AE. <br/>

If I had limitless time to play ...
