RE: Fog of War...unfortunately...not the case

Unfortunately for me, I had temporarily saved and restarted in save game slots above position 20 in this game and in all the games I have going, enabling the bug. I did not know about the bug. Now I do, and will not do this in the future.

RE: Fog of War...unfortunately...not the case

<t> To be honest, I have not completely tested whether the Japanese player can initiate the bug on his own, without Allied help. I sure hope he can not. I will be testing for that possibility in the next few days. I will report back when I have tested and re-tested and then re-tested yet again.<br/>...

<t> Unfortunately, it is not what I want it to be...or what I wish it to be....it is what it is. <br/> I can duplicate this bug 100% of the time as I have tested this 3 times in a row in three games that I set up PBEM.<br/> I am not sure what the minumim requirement is to set off the bug/cheat, but ...

Fog of War...unfortunately...not the case

<t> I have found what I think is a significant bug in the game. Under the correct set of circumstances, a Japanese player is able to re-run turns, until he/she is satisfied with the results. I have successfully tested this theory of mine 3 different times. The circumstances to set this up are diffic...

RE: the gili gili Turkey Shoot

I don't know what happened to my corsairs that turn....but I kinda was counting on them as CAP...and they just let everyone by them...to just totally spank the shipping that was unloading in Lea-Lea. Seems odd.

Is this fog of war???

<r> This is what I got from the saved combat results file when I played it back. The text file has nothing about this. How the heck can the game say that this is fog of war? I think I would know if 0ver 200 planes launched a strike and hit 4 or 5 ships with torpedoes or not.<br/> <br/> When I went a...

RE: the gili gili Turkey Shoot

<t> 86 more Jap planes go down this turn. The Essex is due imminently...The shipping losses at this point, at least in my opinion, are mitigated by the attrition of the Jap airforce. 157 total planes and/or pilots lost in two days has to hurt the long term prospects of the Japanese. The quality adva...

RE: Am I stupid??

I would try this. Maybe that "value" did not refresh properly during the game. Possibly, if you re-start the game, the correct value will display. You may have already tried this, but I thought it was worth a shot.

RE: the gili gili Turkey Shoot

Yep....It would appear that your long range cap is very effective against my carrier air...well...what used to be my carrier air. I wonder why they would have even flown into that much cap?

Like you said....one fish into the side of Saratoga is not the end of the world. While I would have preferred not to have been the recipient of the sushi "special of the day", she is holding up well and is still on station...

I thank you for your donation to Davey Jones's locker.

Also, we meet on Thursday nights, not Fridays.

Must have been a bad night for the Axis....

RE: Japanese opponent wanted for scenario 16

<t> Well, that's what happens when you play a few games. You figure out a few things and say to yourself....next time, I want to do it this way....hence a little variability of the reinforcements to keep things a little uncertain is good, in my book. I have not tried it with variable or extremely va...
