Thanks very much for the help - I see it now. And I've found the same as far as success rate of a naval invasion: in 3 separate attempts my fleet and invasion force has been wiped out every time. I'll have to try the para route.

I've just downloaded the demo (twice, from different servers) and when I try and extract it am told it is corrupted. Is there a valid version of the demo file available anywhere?
