Post-Battle Lock-Up

I am playing v1.12.2 local/host-seat on 32-bit Windows 7. Everything runs fine until after I complete a detailed battle.

As soon as the battle screen exits, the campaign map shows up with no UI, and hangs. Please assist.

RE: errors when using internet play

My buddy and I were trying to play over everything... RJ-45, wireless... we'd have tried serial had we had it.

...by the way, I thought you were great in Silver Spoons. Whatever happened to that Alfonoso kid?

RE: DPERR - PENDING

<t> OK, I'm tracking now -- the game was originally released in '96. I still am upset that the games sold by Matrix aren't being playtested for current system compatibility, or if they are then Matrix is not being forthcoming about issues found with them. [:-]<br/>

Let's narrow this down ...

<r> OK, I amend my last...<br/>

Reading those past posts again it seems that the culprit is the DirectPlay 4 that came with the game. If the multiplayer game is unplayable for some of the customers, isn't it the responsibility of WCS to at least attempt to rectify this with a patch?<br ...

DPERR - PENDING

<r> Alright, I have read the posts regarding other Direct Play errors, and the title of this thread is the one that I'm getting (with both systems running Vista. What I don't understand is this:<br/>

What does it mean when you say that DirectPlay 4 has been "deprecated"?<br/>

Does anyone have a clue how to read the movement.pdt? I haven't been able to make heads or tails of it.

You guys are killing me!

<r> Alright, I had to wrestle with myself over this one, and I've come down to the conclusion that both sides of the whole patch/development argument are wrong in their own ways -- but more so on the user side of the house.<br/>

First, Matrix (or whoever) needs to go ahead and make the v1.02 ...

Ha - as soon as I can get a data rate better than 10Kb/sec... our service is kind of janky out here.

Last Hoorah of the "Staff Battery"

<r> It's unfortunate -- the last battle I ever fought that included the "Staff Battery" (two, no less) and the Staff Batteries (with a few well-said prayers and a heckuva lot of displacing) performed wonderfully.<br/>

Truthfully, my two little staff batteries were like 20th Maine -- I left ...

Deployed... need some help

<t> Hey guys, I need a little help here. It took a few minutes to realize that Matrix shipped me the base version of JTCS, and it looks like downloading the 1.3 patch would fix the Vista problems I am having... actually, I'm only having one thus far -- the anti-armor problem.<br/>

Here's the ...
