This beta patch has made the game for me, it took care of all the major issues. &nbsp;

I've had occasional crashes but not often enough to be bad as long as I saved regularly. I suspect they may have something to do with switching out to the desktop sometimes.

Hmm, I'd appreciate and I bet others would to if this NPC strength fix got posted as a download. It's something that should be patched anyway.

I've got this running on Vista 64 with crashes rare enough not to be a bother.

AFAIK this isn't 'Jagged Alliance 3' and there is even one of those in the works though that project's been so quiet I haven't heard if it's really still alive?

This is more like 'Hammer & Anvil 2' honestly with mercs, that's the feel of it. Not quite the same thing.

The game'll be worth it if a patch comes out that takes care of the worst issues, I think at this stage I'd advise waiting for it.

How does the teacher/student training work? So far I can't seem to get it to work -- I hired a merc, set up in the North Road, and set one teacher and one student -- several days later, no effect on statistics whatsoever.
