RE: Jump in now or wait for WitE2

Thanks - and AH’s 3R, my first strategy game-experience. Nothing have beaten that yet, World in Flames comes close and is a better game, but still not the same as the first battle and sleeplees nights[:)]

Jump in now or wait for WitE2

<t> Hello<br/>
<br/>
I have been lurking on War in the East for years and I am tempted ..., but does it make sense to jump in the deep end now or should I wait for WitE2? Does anybody have an idea when the new version is coming and does anybody have know if it will be a completely new game, so I ...

RE: CHRISTMAS SALE

<t> Quite impressed with this game, reading the AARs, and with the this forum, but before committing the comming years gaming-time to this monster a few question - is the AI any good or do you have to play PBEM? - and the game is from 09, anybody knows if an updated version is on its way (don't want ...

Great AAR - most exciting and really enjoying it, even for one who doesn't own WItP or know the rules[:)]

RE: On the fence here, what to do?

<t> Interesting debate - hope you allow a question along the same path. I myself spend my pc-sparetime on World in Flames - an all time favourite - but is considering one of the 'monstergames'. Actually just got Schwerpunkts new World War II, but haven't had time to play it yet - but is wondering if ...

RE: Land Combat - Display of combat odds

You are right, thank you. In your AAR's I can see a grey line at the bottom of the main form - that should do it. Now I just have to find out how to make the main form vertically larger - horizontally I have the option but not vertically.

RE: Land Combat - Display of combat odds

Thanks, but no matter what I try it does not help. Hopefully I am just doing something wrong - if anybody have the time I have enclosed a saved game after declaring an attack in Poland.

RE: Land Combat - Display of combat odds

<r> Hello<br/>
<br/>
I have the same small problem when I display the cursor over the target hex or the participating attacking units. I got no combat odds in the main form. My screen resolution is 1920 x 1080.<br/>
<br/>
Any help will be most appreciated - but on the plus side I of course now ...

An easy way to see combat-odds

<t> Hello<br/>
<br/>
Does anybody know: Is there a way to see the precise calculated odds in your planned combat before you move on to the phase where you actually executive the combats? Today I have to calculate and keep tracks of the odds manually e.g. in the combat-decision phase and in the ...
