Yes, you can catch them on the ground.

Best way to catch them is to have them fly a mission and then while they are rearming hit them again.

I am happy with a quick and dirty txt file with all the messages one after the other on separate lines.

The messages I really what to be able to check are
New units
Ground unit moves
Other special messages shown after or before start of turn.

Is there a way to write all the on screen messages to a text file. That we could open at the end of a turn go back and look at all the messages.

As at the moment I see the message for a new squadron arriving but normally miss the location they arrive at, then spend time looking for where they are ...

Always love these things in games messages that can be taken both ways. As a positive and a negative.

I have been attacking ground units in Italy, during the attacks you get the messages when a unit attacks.

What I am wondering is what the colours of these messages mean

Some times the message is in white text

Some times the message is in yellow text

Same message format just different colours ...

This has likely been brought up, but I would like to see an option of "amount of days since last photo" when autoplanning recon raids. I spend a lot of time going through autoplanned raids looking for ones thats had just been to the same target previously.

Tried a closer target, but can still only see FB's

I have a small issue: When setting a bombing raid using "fighter Attack:on" only FB show up in the fighter list. I do have a save file if you want it
