RE: run time error

<t> I am using real players with 40 man rosters and started my association in the year 1930. I changed the royals to human control after the expansion draft but before the post draft free agent period. When i viewed my team to make final roster moves all of my pitchers were on the roster to the ...

RE: run time error

O.K. I figured out that if I switch my team to cpu control and tell it to fill the roster spots it does it with no problem - and then I can switch it back and promote, demote, embarrass and demean my players at will.

run time error 3141

<t> Has anyone else had this problem?<br/>
<br/>
I took over the Royals at their expansion year of 1969. When the game wouldn't let me move any of my pitchers to the open spots in the rotation and bullpen, I demoted then all to the minors. This has worked on previous seasons I've played. This time ...

expansion question

Is it possible to control an expansion teams initial draft - or am i left completely to the computer's whim as to who is on the new team?

RE: unattended autoplay

[&o]Apparently it WAS a stadium issue all along... although not the generic stadiums, but the historic stadiums that were causing the problems.&nbsp; I just autoplayed about 1/4 of a season and looked at what teams were hitting way too many hrs and adjusted accordingly.

changing league details

Isn't there a patch I can download to let me go back in and change the roster size, dh rule and the closer usage in my league? Or is there some other way to do it... otherwise how is it possible to have anything close to historically accurate?

RE: unattended autoplay

<t> Well, whether or not I use generic or actual ballpark configs makes no&nbsp; difference.&nbsp; One season in a 1906 replay the league leader in the American league had like fifty HRs - the National league leader had ten.&nbsp; usually (I've tried this like ten times now with slightly different ...

RE: unattended autoplay

<t> I thought maybe it had something to do with the extremely early era I was playing in - so I tried starting in 1920 and still had nobodies leading the league in HRs in seasons that they hit maybe ten in real life.&nbsp; <br/>
<br/>
I will try to rectify this by looking at the stadium config ...

unattended autoplay

<t> In an attempt to build a league history I began my league in the year 1903 and ran it on autoplay until I wanted to control a team. Low and behold "Wee" Willie Keeler is belting fifty HRs a season while I'm eating dinner.<br/>
If I sim one season at a time (time consuming) then the numbers seem ...
