Aviation question

This has probably been covered and I missed it, but....

Will aviation assets fly support for all actions within range, or just those in their command structure? Will other nationalities work together (Romanian air support German attack, etc)?

RE: Did leadership losses get over tweeked???

You guys on the 1.03 beta or 1.02?

I think I'm on turn 119 on 1.02 and was just looking after losing Balck. I've lost 46 generals, but the crazy part is 5 Field Marshals. The 1.03 has distance factors or something for losses, right?

Strategic Bombing

Anyone do any of this on the SU production centers? Does it work well? Not worth the effort and losses?

Captured Manpower

<t> I was checking the production and thought to check the captured manpower and see how much that was helping out. Seems that with over 1000 points of manpower there is zero production. I reviewed the manual, but there was nothing in there. I was just wondering if this was how it was supposed to ...

RE: Axis Players Think Tank

<t> I have only played the AI, which is probably the best ever. My longest game is going right now on turn 90 something as the Axis. I would like to see the ability to create support units and HQ's for both sides, not just the SU. At least HQ's for Axis, but SU's would be a welcome addition ...

RE: STAVKA Overloaded

Do you ever get enough Front HQ's so they aren't all overloaded as well? Does it make much of a difference when they are over? I know that the rulebook says there are penalties, but how bad are they? Also, are they cumulative (the more overloaded, the worse they get)?

Withdrawals

If XXXIV Corps is withdrawing and has 5 Support units attached, do the support units withdraw with the HQ? How about if support units are attached directly to a division and it withdraws?

Subsequent weather

<t> So what does the weather do after the blizzards end in 41? <br/>
<br/>
And thank God they ended when they did. Was feeling pretty good about my Barbarossa campaign until the blizzards hit and the Soviets blew a very large whole in my line. By turn 38 they were almost back to Kiev!! The ...

Managing support units

<t> For those that have been playing a bit longer:<br/>
<br/>
Do you assign the majority of your support units directly to combat units, or allow the HQ's to allocate?<br/>
<br/>
Also, if I assign 3 support units to a division and the division enters combat, will the HQ still support with ...

RE: German medium tank shortage

On a side note, I was looking in the production area for the Axis and did not see PzIVG or H listed. Maybe I missed them?

It will be a U-GO I-GO game

That is really too bad. I was excited until this. If it was WEGO life would be grand. Oh well.

RE: Wishlist (cont'd)

I've been searching the forum and trying to find an answer about dismounting motorized infantry. I see that it was suggested as an improvement, but was unable to ascertain whether it will be added in a later patch or the next game. Is there any update on this?&nbsp;

RE: Map Elevation Lines

It was the "performed an illegal operation and must shut down" one. I figured it out though. The file had a MapPat_Cota_ file that I was substituting for the MapPat. Once I deleted the _Cota_ from the file name, it worked fine. Sorry for the mess, sometimes I'm a little slow.

RE: Weapon Range Tables

Thanks!! I'll play around with that a bit. Looking forward to BFTB and beyond. That would be a nice on screen addition for some of us more anal types. Thanks again for the quick response.

RE: Map Elevation Lines

I was trying to use the Capt mod and it came with only one file. I created a new folder, copied the other two map files and the capt file and it crashed. So I used the original folder, replaced the MapPat file with the Capt file and it still wouldn't go. Any other suggestions?&nbsp;

Weapon Range Tables

<t> I was perusing the forum in search of weapon range tables or where they could be found. I ran across one post that showed the effectiveness for the Br .303, but no luck with anything else. Post Follows:<br/>
<br/>
We already attenuate accuracy for individual weapons over range. Most weapons ...

Thanks, but when I do that the game crashes on startup of a scenario. I could be doing it wrong, I'm not a computer guru, but I followed the instructions as best I could. Thanks again.

RE: Map Elevation Lines

How do you install the map mods? If I understand the manual, you have to do each map individually. Is there a way to do them all in one shot?
