Kinda OT Thank you

Cap’n Darwin and team - I’m 67, was a US Army buck Sgt over in Germany 1976-1978, and as life goes have fallen on some tough medical issues last two years. Two failed cervical spine fusions and a heart attack paled in comparison to really bad Covid in June. I survived long coma and all the horrible ...

Thanks for great help in these times

<t> Alvaro, thanks for your game and your ever present support - especially in these times. I am 65, have lung problems and am in high risk group. Finding your work of art, Warplan, and your support invaluable medicine in these isolated times. Just downloaded updated manual, made some coffee, and am ...

RE: AI -1.03 v Worth buying??

<t> 64 year old vet with no connections to Matrix or developer. Only play AI solo and have found game very challenging - I always have same concern you voice and have many times been disappointed. No so here.<br/>

plus key & zoom in/out touchpad no work

<t> Alienware 15" laptop - everything fine but minus key works to zoom out screen, plus key does nothing. Using touchpad to zoom in/zoom out does not work either. Once I get zoomed out at any increment or for overall look I can't adjust back from there. DC:Barbarosa and all Vic's games use same to ...

RE: learnable if new to modern era wargaming?

<t> Sure thing, Grotius. This is just such an impressive game ecosystem for lack of a better word. And as an old vet I so admire modern era combat veterans and what they do. I am hoping with new CMO there will be some fresh AARs and tutorials and videos for guys like us starting out. Meanwhile, I am ...

RE: learnable if new to modern era wargaming?

Is CMO close enough to CMANO that all the many good videos are still helpful and applicable? I was too lazy to look at them and learn the game when I had CMANO loaded and now have time and more motivation with CMO. Thanks for any help.

RE: Community Scenarios

New guy here - I dl'd them again and unzipped to a new Community folder in CMO Scenario folder and they are working - opened a few to play to make sure. Shouldn't matter how they get there but ? Hope that helps as I hesitate to share being new to game.

RE: learnable if new to modern era wargaming?

Thanks for taking time today especially to reply. I bought game and dl'd.

Starting on tutorial videos in Help dropdown - I assume updated UI with CMO is close enough with CMANO as vids reference that.

Thanks again.

learnable if new to modern era wargaming?

<t> I bought original and was overwhelmed by it and everyone that is so knowledgeable on forums (no dis rather a compliment!) so it sat. I am familiar with other wargaming eras, served in Army 1976-1980, but am ignorant of all modern weapon systems, tactics, etc. above my old M-16. But I know ...

quite a fun experience

<t> This whole Warplan thing is great! Play the game some, then gotta read the forums for the many, many good questions and knowledgeable comments from the many good gamers - and then the daily waves of Alvaro responses - he is not kidding when he says he reads and answers every post! And the ...

<t> Thanks for always great rapid response on forums. I will go buy CTGW now. ETA on ipad patch(es)

<t> Hello. I bought whole package for iPad Panzer Corps upon release. Missed some features and was heartened to read in forum that patch to include advanced features was coming in June. But nothing came and no status update since. I would gladly again purchase CTGW right away if I had some info on ...
