RE: Nelson, Wellington and.. er Warspite (God help us)

Warspite

I've been intrigued by this game for quite awhile, but reluctant to purchase it for the same reasons as you. Your introductory learn-as-you-go AARs are great guides to gameplay for guys like me. Good luck, and I'll be following with interest.

RE: Play along with me! - Global War Solitaire AAR

This is incredibly helpful. There are a number of explanations in this that clear up questions that have come up in my first couple of efforts at this monster.

Thanks for the very clear description of actions and reasoning. It is really appeciated.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sure looks like the original AH Blitzkrieg map. Very clever!

Bravo for playing this through to the bitter end. One actually gets the aura of hopelessness that exists on the part of the allies. Keep fighting the good fight!

RE: Do you hear the people sing?!

<t> Just a couple of quick thoughts.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
1.&nbsp; Having Spain stay as glory leader is not all bad.&nbsp; Keeps the target off of your back.<br/>
2.&nbsp; To prop up the economy, go for colonies or provinces.&nbsp; Money is a very short term solution, and will be gone before you know ...

RE: Do you hear the people sing?!

<t> Nice to see an update. As for where to go, I'd probably let discretion be the better part of valor and head to Spain to end hostilities as soon as possible.
