RE: max react

Have seen subs wih react radius 3-6 pursue convoy TFs for a few days, now I reduce a little bit to avoid&nbsp;wolf packs behind running secondary targets instead of hunting along their patroling zone.

<t> Cribtop, I did conduct a lot of such convoy sweepings of any kind at Guadalcanal (6th campaign,&nbsp;3rd with jap) and usually it works but it is&nbsp;hard to micromanage the raiding TF's when many enemy small TFs are in all the coastal hexes. Several times even agressive leaders were fooled ...

Zebedee is right, the choice of leaders is very sensitive. Agressiveness and skills are the key parameters explaining many lost opportunities or too risky battles. <br/>

I do exactly as Mullk and pompack, one CV per TF as US for defensive reasons and 2 or 3 as IJN because of the lack of escort.<br/>

The 1by1 is more flexible and easier to manage since it is convenient for combat purpose to stack 3 "one CV TF" together when raiding in front line ...

I just tried to send a lone ship into a rainy day battle with a TF A of CV/2CA/4DD stacked with a TF B of 1CA/4DD :<br/>
