RE: Manila or Pearl-new paradigm?

<t> Playing against the AI, I have tried it both ways. Using Bettys and Nells, I usually destroy 20 SS in Manila (hitting Manila with everything several days running). With the KB I don't do much better than that. For me the deciding factor is the number of aircraft destroyed. An attack on PH (with ...

RE: AI Suicide Missions - Hotfix3 - still occurring

I'm having the same problem. Its late June 42 in scenario 1 and the AI is still sending small TFs to raid Canton Is. and Noumea. In December and January such raids often caused damage. But by June they are just suicide.

RE: The dreaded 2nd turn!

Thanks. This is very helpful. In my two scenario 1 starts, the Japanese AI went after both Canton and Baker in December. I wouldn't ignore them, and keep a task force handy to defend them.

RE: "Day 2" Logistics Documents & Geveral Approach?

<t> Having been wupped by the AI a couple of times, here are a few observations for turn 2 for the Allies.<br/>
1. The Japanese AI is very aggressive. Get Enterprise and Lexington out of harms way.<br/>
2. You have lots of shipping, mostly in places where it isn't useful. I start on one side of ...

RE: Pfff...air combat :(

<t> My experience also is that the air combat system is producing ahistorical results.&nbsp; I am playing the campaign as the allies at historical difficulty.&nbsp; In the Philippines and Malaya my troops are running like rabbits, but my inexperienced pilots in obsolete planes are tigers in the air ...
