RE: Artillery Unit types

<t> The artillery type K is a 6 pounder rifled cannon. You can also find this information out by looking at the parameter data for whatever battle that you are fighting. To access parameter data, click on help, then open scenario notes, then click on parameter data. It will contain a listing of ...

RE: v1.80 beta Now Available

I have the same issue, except I bought mine from GamersGate. I get the "invalid key" when trying to register the game at Matrix Games. Any solution to this?

RE: zoc and zoc attacks

<t> The BG Napoleon and Civil War series use different fronts or facing for units. In the Napoleonic series the units face along the spine and has a front or forward ZOC of two hexes. In the Civil War series the unit faces the hexside and has a front or forward ZOC of three hexes. Skirmishers are ...

RE: How is AI, thinking of buying.

<t> The BG series does have a lot to offer but I can't offer much positive to say about the AI. You will be quickly bored after beating up on the AI after a few games, so you should probably save your money. I love the BG series but I play PBEM and a real live opponent is the best way to enjoy these ...

RE: Matrix BG Napoleon Scenario Editor Workaround

<t> I gave it another shot with renaming the .exe file for each game. It does seem to work for Waterloo but NIR still gives me "error reading file" messages and PTW gives me a message of "duplicate unit" and places a Marshall Ney icon out for every French unit in the scenario. After the error ...

RE: Matrix BG Napoleon Scenario Editor Workaround

<t> I'm interested in using the Napoleonic scenario editor and I tried this setup but I keep getting "error reading file" messages when I open up the scenarios to edit with it. It' is the same with Prelude to Waterloo, Waterloo, or Napoleon in Russia. I followed your setup and used your editor, is ...

RE: Gettysburg games

<t> If you are looking for something more like the ole SSI Gettysburg, you can't go wrong with the Matrix Battleground ACW or the HPS Gettysburg title. The HPS and Battleground are very similiar with better graphics for the Matrix BG, but I think you get more for your money with the Matrix BG series ...
