It's a valuable resource, but with all sources it should be crossed checked with all your other sources.

I don't know. Maybe they were going to set things up one way and then switched, but forgot to remove the old try. Just a guess.

Try using the pontoon bridge from the sam menu you get the river hex, not the road hexes.

Okay, then I'm stumped, too. I hope someone who knows the engine better comes along and provides the correct answer.

RE: Problem with crossin pontoon bridge

PH,

I bet you have to move your long bridge down one hex row. It looks to me as if you have the exit point going into water.

I do like the movement table with the 4/+10 ; 4/+25 ; etc.

Did not mean to upset you, nor for you to go into some long explanation. BTW, and no offence intended, your opinions in the first two paragraphs aren't shared by everyone. I believe your assumptions are incorrect. The game engine is much stronger than you are giving it credit ...

Bug, or did I do something wrong

Play testing a small scenario today that I made, and the oddest thing. A Side B unit was able to occupy the same hex as a Side A leader, and then A Side A unit moved through a Side B leader. Any ideas?

Fire phases

Do units that fire after moving do so with the same effectiveness of those that fire in the first phase (and don't get to move during the turn)?

Did not see anything in the rules or editor screens about it.

RE: So, lets hear form someone who bought it

Jackx,

The problem you mention is easily fixed by having the scenario designer dissolve units that hit 25% or lower, or some such low strength unit. Once the unit is down to mere cadre it would be combat ineffective anyway.
