It has started working again, not sure why.

game hanging again after i click host

I found the source of the problem. I disabled the AVG Link Scanner and the game started to host.

Did a test with default units (some of them under strengh) and it crashed again

Restarted, got rid of all units and reselected and it seems to work fine after reselection

If I remove it and readd may that cure the issue?

A problem is I have several units with hardly any troops and so really could use them all?
