I am curious because I devoted a fair bit of time over on the Steam forums answering questions and giving my own testimonials as to the awesome-ness of DW.

How satisfied are you new players from the Steam launch that DW is a fantastic 4x Game?

I encourage all of you old school DW vets to do as some of us are doing and get on the Steam forums. Answer peoples' "Is it worth it?" "Why $50 for a 4 year old game?", "Is it any good?" questions. Let's help Elliot & Erik out with some grass roots marketing.

Yup, it also did the same thing to me. I had to make it generate me a new random password and email it to me. Once I logged in with that everything was fine.

Hey, Gerry, could you please update the download in the members section? The in-game updater doesn't work for me, I have to do the updates manually like the beta. The members download is still the 1.9.0.12 beta version. Thanks!
