RE: How to withdraw a ship?

<t> Hi, Matthew. To withdraw a ship she must be offmap. Not necessarily at an offmap base; being in transit is enough. Considering that, it's a good idea to take in mind transit times in order to comply with withdraw dates. I didn't do that and I had to pay a lot of PPs because the Queen Elizabeth ...

RE: The finest hour of an allied surface fleet

I've seen a lot of people suggest to avoid night battles as allied at the beginning of the war. But I'm afraid I don't know how to do that. How do you control when your surface fleet will engage?

The finest hour of an allied surface fleet

<t> I found a japanese CV fleet close to Sydney, composed by the CV Soryu and 3 DD. It had already attacked several Australian cities, so I guessed it was low on bombs, so I sent a surface fleet: BC Repulse, 2 CA, 4 CL and 5 DD. The surface fleet managed to find the CV fleet, so a surface combat ...

RE: Tactical Questions

<t> If I recall correctly, a fleet in Escort mode will always try to fly. The idea of Escort mode is to have a protected ship in it and some covering force, but they won't try to engage in order not to risk the ship you want to preserve. So if I'm right, it wouldn't work to put your surface fleet in ...

RE: Chinese war theater

<t> Update: Yes, I had to change my strategy. I mean, I tried to be conservative with the troops, but there are not enough supplies to keep them running, so, unless I'm mistaken, they will begin to die anyways due to the lack of supplies. It has become more like a guerrilla warfare. I use the planes ...

RE: Training group

Thanks, Sqz. But I'm afraid I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I select an Air Group, enter the pilot roster and there are plenty of white names. If I do left click on them, nothing happens. I tried it with several Air Groups and the same thing always. [&:]

Training group

<t> Good day. I'm new here. I wouldn't start a new thread, but I haven't been able to find the info I need. According to the manual, you can define an air group as "Training group" in order to speed up the training of the pilots. But I don't know how. On the other hand, I've read that you can have ...
