Doesn't the research bonus apply empire wide?

Regardless in early game I build one each lab on HW and a Large Spaceport. This is nice 200k in each of the three areas.

<t> The worst thing as a new player is that u realize just when the game is getting good *poof* you win! Up the racial victory condition thresh-hold to 100%, and add at least 60 years till victory is what I suggest. Victory is really not what the game is about... also longer games give you opportuni...

Someone help me perhaps... what is the proper setting if I want my designs upgraded with newer components but not changed? Every time I design custom minign stations the shtako ai ruins it!

Yes this can happen, and has happened to me. I would stop building manually and tell the constructor to repair instead. This sent it on a mission to pick up more materials.

1.9.0.5: Captured Mining base at Independant colony self destructing

Due to the new addition in 1.9.0.5 when you capture a pirate base at an independent colony, it explodes! This is unintended obviously as this addition was put in to prevent capturing spaceports over planet in early game :/

Long ago I started making a Sots mod. I got as far as making about 30 pic files of Human ships from screenshots I took in game. But boy did it get tedious.

C# is fine for game development.&nbsp; Just look at XNA.&nbsp;

The game should be fine tracking everything if it's tweaked properly.&nbsp; But I'm not sure how the game treats multiple cores.&nbsp; That could be one problem.
