HE Rounds in Anti-Armour Role

<t> I have played around with the Estab and Scen editors and I have noticed that heavy HE rounds have ZERO anti-armour value, that is - this capability is not currently portrayed in the game.<br/> <br/> For example, the 38cm HE rocket-propelled mortar round of the SturmTiger will never get employed ...

RE: Missing Photos

Arjuna,
Could you please attach the spreadsheet file to your first post, so that everyone could see the list when they enter this thread?

Thanks.

List of Missing Photos

<t> I was thinking of posting this in the Tech Support, but since Arjuna has made a dedicated thread - here it goes.<br/> <br/> By going through the Estab Editor, I made a list of the Vehicles and Weapons that have no pictures. Some weapons are Vehicle-mounted/Turreted weapons, so it must be decided...

RE: Infantry Unit Refueling?

I sent the saved game to your support e-mail.

I re-sent the e-mail, because I think that, the first time around, the attachments did not go through.
I apologize for spamming your inbox :-)

RE: Infantry Unit Refueling?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the quick reply.

The unit has not been involved in combat, so it hasn't lost any equipment. It does not have any subordinates either.
How can I send you the saved game file?

Infantry Unit Refueling?

<r> I found this a bit weird - an infantry unit refueling.<br/> Under the "Equipment and Supplies" tab, there is nothing indicating why would the unit need to refuel.<br/> Does this have something to do with the "Basics" supply, or is it something that shouldn't be there?<br/> I should mention that ...

RE: A couple of questions...

<t> Hi there Pertubaro,<br/> <br/> Yes, I have tried running BftB under Wine (Ubuntu 9.10) and the game itself installed successfully. However, the installation hanged while installing the additional components (C++ library, .Net, and DX). Therefore, it was a no go under Wine (I tried to run the gam...

Thanks Arjuna! You are the best :-)

BTW, congrats on the new release! I really appreciate the hard work that the PG team has put into making a great product even better.

RE: Tutorials

<t> Totally agree. The tutorial movies are very detailed, yet the information is provided in such fashion that it is relatively easy to grasp. I believe that they nicely complement the PDF manuals (I have always loved PG's manuals - very professionally done) and add more value to the final product.<...

RE: MD5 checksum

<r> Thanks for the reply Andrew.<br/> <br/> Unfortunately, installing the game would not be the best indicator. Generally speaking, compromised file integrity would not always prevent software from installing "successfully" unless you have a file integrity verificator inside the installation package...

RE: MD5 checksum

<t> I am not sure whether this was supposed to be some kind of a joke, but it certainly wasn't helpful.<br/> While it is widely known that the MD5 is not the ultimate indicator of a file's integrity, it is both the easiest and the most commonly used method for integrity verification.<br/> <br/> Fina...

MD5 checksum

<r> I am very happy that BftB is finally out - I am downloading as I write this message.<br/> <br/> I would like to have some kind of verification which would assure me that the file's integrity has not been compromised. Most download sites provide such verification in the form of MD5 checksums. Wou...
