RE: The bug thread.

<t> The patch sure makes a hell of a difference. Only real annoying thing that I keep noticing is that when you position a MG (heavy and light alike) unit or a sniper next to a low stone (garden)wall that the MG or sniper isn't able to fire "over" it while other teams like infantry can. Elevation ...

RE: What's next for CC?

<t> A proffesionally remake of that old but awesome "Der Kessel" mod for CC5. The feeling of despair when you were slowly boxed in as the Germans combined with awesome street fighting in Stalingrad and the great and diverse troop selection make it still the single best CC mod I ever played. Would ...

RE: Last Stand Arnhem v5.60.01b Public Beta

<t> Bridges get blown really quick. Battlegroups which merge still lose their active roster. AI still loves to go on the attack whenever it's supposed to be defending. Mind you though, it does give a good fight now. Mortars aren't the deadly tools anymore they once were. MG's seem to still have ...

Blown bridges.

Anyone has any succes capturing bridges intact? Despite my best efforts the AI just loves to blow them whenever I push it too far or as soon as my troops are about to reach the VP which controls it. Bit of a bother really.

RE: Axis forces not attacking

I can tell you that for me at least this is absolutely not a sporadic problem. No matter what campaign or op I play or what side I play the AI just will not attack. Last Stand at Arnhem is the op where this is the easiest to see. Please do try it out.

RE: The bug thread.

<t> Nice to see you guys take action on these. Here are some more I ran into.<br/>
<br/>
*Half tracks are extremely hard to kill. Harder than anything else in the game really.<br/>
*Even after sitting in one position for a long time a mortar or machine gun team still starts to 'set up' when ...

RE: Axis forces not attacking

Tried a few other campaigns and ops. The entire campaign map AI seems to be either extremely timid or even inactive. Gamebreaker really. Let's hope they'll fix this.

The bug thread.

<t> So why don't we as players try to detail what bugs we find while playing the game in one clear thread. That way the devs can easily see what people run into.<br/>
<br/>
*Campaign map AI just sits there. It's basically inactive at the moment. To me this is a gamebreaker.<br/>
*Vehicle ...

RE: Just some impressions and observations.

<t> Well, apart from the shoddy vehicle pathfinding for the player the rest seems to be quite spot on. I'm glad my little men don't dive down to the ground waiting to be picked off one by one as happened in WAR. Still, I do hope vehicle pathfinding will be something the devs look at. Though I'm ...

RE: Axis forces not attacking

They show the same behaviour in other operational maps. The last stand at Arnhem is an especially good example. The axis just sit on their own territory and never attack.

RE: Pathing Issue

Try the Arnhem bridge battle map. The bridge is wide enough for three or four pzkws to drive over it at once. Still the game keeps giving the "can't reach target" reply when you even try to send one over it.

RE: Just some impressions and observations.

<t> Interesting. I could swear I heard some new voices and weapon sounds. Guess you've got quite a library of them then. I could also swear that a tank firing its main cannon looked quite a bit more impressive than it did in for instance Iron Cross. Perhaps I just like the new paint job on the ...

So far I would say the game has everything needed to be the single best remake so far. Unless the AI battle map, pathfinding and campaign map AI issues are solved however I couldn't ...

RE: Pathing Issue

Armor pathing seems once again to be horrible broken. At least for the human player. AI armor seems to behave quite adequate.

Me personally, I just get tired of having to babysit them through waypoints.

Just some impressions and observations.

<r> Been playing this game for the past few hours since I'm going to write a review for it on <URL url="http://www.tacticularcancer.net">www.tacticularcancer.net</URL>. As an old-time fan of the CC series I must say that I was really looking forward to trying a remake to what is easily my most ...
