Bah, I take it back. It did crash with sound on, just not immediately on entering the battle module. It does work fine with both sound and music off, though.

I edited the tcc.cfg several times.<br/>
1) sound at all = no with music at all = no. Game works fine.<br/>
2) sound at all = no with music at all ...

I'm posting here because I have this same problem as Ghostbear. I do NOT have the DEP thing enabled for all applications. But I did try this latest thing with sound at all =no and music at all =no and now the game runs ok.
