I check for a new update, and I still receive the message that I have the newest version (i.e. 229)

That is 4.0.229
Though I'm not sure that that was the case last week when I played it the last time.

maybe something like the internal unit-cohesion could be made applicable for all units within battalions or regiments as well: only when they are nearby (like in radio-range) their morale will be higher. (except offcourse for recon-units).
