I've received access violation errors with both Windows XP and Windows 7. Always on the French turn, too.

Does anyone still use the old computer world in flames program? If so, have you encountered any "access violations" in the module "WIF.exe"? I'm trying to figure out why I'm getting that error and what it means. Reloading the game doesn't seem to help...

Does anyone know how I can play around with the artwork of the old Computer World in Flames program? From what I can tell, the information is contained in ".dat" files that are not easily accessible.
