Excellent Game series

<t> Just picked up the discounted version of the Polish/France campaign and it is really great game. I already have the Case Blue and I think the Cards really make the decision making interesting. Keep up the good work! I have been playing war games since the 70's and this is one of the best ones I ...

Jim. I think you are right. I believe the vehicles are removed from the unit and it become basically either becomes immobile or has limited mobility. Not sure though. I haven't used them yet.

RE: User opinions

<t> Couldn't agree more. It is an awesome game! The key is don't get frustrated by the manual. What is working for me is taking it one step at a time. I am worked on Combat first, then Logistics, and now the air model. For me it makes it much easier. I remember on some of the earlier posts people ...

RE: Playing it as noob click attack move style

<r> This is what I am doing. The manual is not as big as it seems. It can be read in an afternoon. So I read the manual. Forgot most of it the next day. <E>:D</E> But I am trying to get each piece down. For example. I did print out the hot keys. I tried to fully understand the combat model. Movement ...

RE: Made the plunge - New to Ostfront - Suggested Reading? Maps?

One of my favorites is the Collapse of Army Group Centre by Paul Adair. But like someone else said before. The appendix at the end contains many outstanding books. And as a general rule of thumb. You can never go wrong with a book by Glantz.

Strategy guide?

Is there any chance Matrix will come out with a strategy guide. Something like Panther did for their Arnhem game a few years back? Thanks!

P.S. This game is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:)]

RE: Paying Player's Poll (no testers please)

<t> I bought a game what will reasonably recreate what it was to be "in Command" of the East front. As far as AI. I understand there are limitations. Because I would imagine it would be hard as the AI to decide when to go on the overall strategic offensive? <br/>
