Re: Expanded Allied Air HQ

Hey Kent, I've noticed the Germans have been able to run a lot of air supply. Is this something you're able to interdict? Is it worth doing so?

Thanks!

Re: Turn 41 Allied air phase

Thank you Kent for the continuing great AAR, and congrats to both players!

The Germans seem pretty heavily commited in Italy -- do you think that will be an issue for him with an invasion of France coming presumably in a couple months? Or perhaps you're weakened with your transport loses so that ...

Re: Sneak Peeks, Coming Attractions, Works-In-Progress Redux

These look great Crossroads. I wish the forums provided a way to show approval or disaaproval without having to clutter a thread with posts like this one. Something like an upvote/downvote system.

Re: Naval suprise on turn 36

It had been a while since playing WitW and I have not really run into a problem of Task Forces magically moving from Mediterranean to UK. Of course this happens every game but I have not noticed it too much; until this challenge, due to impact. I do not even have an answer for this. "Dumb", is all ...

Re: Ferry Crossing Clarification

I was going to clarify some aspects of a ferry crossing in WitW but after a test I see it would be meaningless. Simply put, nothing matters!

To begin with, there is a difference between port and ferry. Hexes have one, the other, or both. Bombing a port does not affect a ferry and bombing a ferry ...

I'm a little surprised & disappointed there aren't more player created scenarios (and I do plan on playing yours Matteo!).

Re: Help me! I cannot install the remaster version

Always uninstall app and never delete them first. When an app installs it creates entries in the registry that can not just be deleted. Well you could, but if you don't know what your doing your system may never boot up.

A reminder to everyone who's not yet installed either of the 2.00/3.00 ...

Thank you for your AAR. These have to be the most beautiful maps I've seen in wargaming. Too bad I'm not smart enough to play this game.

Re: Finish Theater Box Termination?

Hans has won and won decisively and that would satisfy most players who would either bump up the difficulty settings and/or seek out a human opponent for a challenge, but I've come to the conclusion that Hans just wants to be able to further obliterate the Soviet AI. And he's upset the developers ...

Re: Finish Theater Box Termination?

I'm having problems seeing the point of this thread Hans,

Big whoop, you found some issues with the game under an edge case condition (utterly defeating the Soviets). Very few players have the skill level or the inclination to play out a game against an opponent as decisively beaten as you have ...

What I quoted from you, that it's a problem that the game's historical rail repair rate might not match the game's.

There was absolutely nothing uncivil about my comments.

Calling a spade a spade in not an uncivil act.

I swear this species is growing more and more thin skinned by the day.

Re: Win with Autoplan Raids

I find this both depressing news and good news.

Depressing news because I played this scenario twice and played to the best of my ability using all the advice I gathered on the forums. I was one VP away from victory on my ...

Re: Escorts

Also, plan your raids to bomb a cluster of targets after following the previous raid path. This allows you to share the escort screen. Watch out for diminishing returns on >100 bomber raids. Smoke will start to obscure the target after the first few groups have dropped their loads.

Any idea how ...

Yes, all mods should be disabled before running the update.

And many thanks for the major update of course!

Yeah, I'd rather see you guys spending dev time improving the game rather than trying for cover every fragment of OB esoterica people dig up.
