thanks for replies, without updating from measly old 4.0 it seems that I can access the manual from the program.

It won't open from the main UI, continuing to give an error message, however, by going into the C drive and opening up the game : I could select the manual and a manual (light). Manual Light opened. The other did not.<br/>
What's the difference? There's no indication that ...

I'm delighted with the game, however the pdf manual won't open. The error message reads : "There was an error opening this document. Could not repair file."

Any clues?
