<t> The poster, Pion Urpo is the name on the email, is playing against SMK and me. Against me, he is recovering nicely from my Russia First strategy but has had problems with naval operations resulting in thousands of Brits stranded in England and unable to help the French (who are just now coming ...

RE: The Bear Trap

Well, so much for the Bear Trap idea. The rest of it works, but could be done earlier, to Austria's advantage.

So when Italy is attacked, the TE can strat rail in, but not Romania?

RE: Greece almost unconquerable

<t> One transport used at different times. The Greeks could be taken after Romania falls, assuming the TE ever lets CP control the Eastern Med. Could happen. Didn't in our last game but the transport was at sea in the Med ready to take on troops for the attack on Athens. Incredibly, the Royal Navy ...

The Bear Trap

<t> Austria starts off producing six food and consuming seven each turn with a stockpile of seven. If it loses no food hexes and captures none, it will exhaust the stockpile in September 1915. Similarly, Austria's industrial production is hampered by limited raw materials. It produces only four per ...

Greece almost unconquerable

<t> The steady flow of raw materials from the Ottoman Empire to Germany is important to the German war machine. Greek entry into the war on the TE side provides a base from which the TE could interdict the Berlin-Baghdad railway by attacking into Bulgaria and what used to be Serbia.<br/>

Opponent wanted

Seven PBEM games completed, one nearly done and I project a 50% batting average.

It is tough being CP, so I'll take that side for the first game of what I hope is at least a multi-game series (switch sides each time one is done).

RE: **Unofficial GoA Hints and Tips thread**

This is a very informative thread and does not deserve to be buried.

Transports on shipping missions only bring goodies home for the first two out of the their three turns at sea.

You WILL lose ONE THIRD of your trade potential if you don't plan for this.
