Auto save APs for Firing

I´ve selected this option, however, I notice that some units from the other side (AI) are still using all APs without firing. Is this option only available to the Human Player?

turn system

I believe it will be a IGOUGO turn system. Although I prefer a WEGO system, I have no real problem with that as long as there is some sense of realism, and not a "all army stands still feeling". So will there be any changes in the turn system?

RE: Next version News (4.0)

In my opinion there is too much an "All army stands still" feeling during turns. Perhaps if the distance a unit has to walk was more reduced it would sound a bit more realistic.

That´s the problem with the IGOUGO system. If only Matrix tried to limit its disadvantages...

RE: Next version News (4.0)

Tough I know TOAW III can never use a simultaneous turn system, I would love that the new patches featured something that downplayed the "all army stands still" effect of the IGOUGO system.

RE: The Scope of Flash Point Campaigns

It would increase the possibilities of the editor, which was one of the reasons for the sucess of TOAW. But it´s up to Matrix, of course.

RE: The Scope of Flash Point Campaigns

I have a little doubt.

I believe I read that the hex scale is 500 meters. But will the editor allow to change to less or more?

RE: MCS User WISHLIST

I know it´s not possible to add the possibility of using simultanenous turns. But, if possible, I would like that the IGOUGO effect would be minimized, to give more the sense of realism. Despite opportunity fire, it still feels much like a chess game.

How about making the AI automatically save APs? Is it possible?

RE: Movement

I´m not a "wego" die hard fan.

My idea is simply to push the CS towards a more realistic feeling, within the IGOUGO limitations.

RE: Movement

Naturally, it needs to be taken in consideration. I think it depends a lot on the scenario itself. Still, I think action points can be reduced without affecting much both movement and fire.

RE: Movement

<t> Basically, I would like to reduce action points by units, specially mobile ones, in order to avoid long movements. When all enemy units sit still during those long movements it seems to me very unrealistic.<br/>
Of course in scenarios were movement allowance is lower, for instance in the ...

Movement

I would like to edit the scenario in order to give less Action Points for the units, so it can give a little more realism. Is it possible?

RE: just wondering...

Many thanks for your replies.
One possibility that occured to me was to decrease movement points in order to make units move less and therefore it might give a more realistic feeling. Is it possible? If so, is it possible only on scenario design or can it be done in the options menu?

<t> I was really thinking about buying this game. It seems very well conceived, and the possibility of playing any battle of the 20th century sounds wonderful. However, I´m not a fan of the IGOUGO system. I prefer the WEGO system.<br/>
I was just curious if TOAW players use any form to diminish the ...
