I've decided to add Estonia as this will help in realism. Estonia doesn't have much of an army so that will be a cake walk, and as for the EU intervention I'm thinking less than Lithuania, probably around 45-50% chance.

RE: Area of airstrikes

I didn't think it would be that small since an arty battalion generally has a 250m X 250m area, but I have not really given it deep though. Thanks for the answers!

Area of airstrikes

<t> I have looked in the manual and searched the forums... no dice.<br/>
<br/>
When you target an airstrike, how far from the center does it extend, and is it a box or a circle?<br/>

I see it a somewhat like an arty strike, but with no border, I don't know the size I am attacking. Just as ...

This is probably an 'unknown' enemy unit that disbands, so doesn't surrender or is destroyed. As there is no action from friendly forces there is no report of action/identification of survivors.

Destroyed/Surrendered Enemy Units Sometimes Don't Register

<t> This is an intermittent bug that seems to happen when there is a lot of activity and the game speed is at >> or >>>. The high activity -- many units doing something, especially fighting many enemy units -- is the largest factor. The cross for the enemy unit shows on the map, but clicking on it ...

Does it really matter? The distance rings are always the same, so maybe it is just a "programming shortcut."

Good observation because I may be wrong, and it may actually matter.

I've decided to go with "Command Ops: Battles for Greece" or BFG for short.
Are we going to have an option for a BFG-9000 in there? Are you going to go FPS on this one?

Interesting. I have tried it, but I can't see that it works.

In your experience, how effective is counterbattery fire? How long after the bombardment ends does the enemy unit recover?

Having a 3-D feel for the terrain is critical for a real commander, and it if just as important for winning BftB.<br/>

Even if the maps were simple 2-D ...
