Since build 1121.4 tacview displays unit labels. Is there a way to disable it?

Try launching Tacview on it's own, adjust settings, close it, and see if they stick.

This is exactly why the on-demand download solution was chosen, I think. I saw a number kicked around of 200Gb to complete the sets.
You're thinking of the CMO maps, this is just for Tacview.
