RE: Win10 upgrade issue

FWIW running in Win 8 compatibility mode seems to work for me on my laptop, though I do have to pull the font scaling down to 100% when I play the game. Annoying, but not a blocker.

RE: Incorrect fonts and windows

Yeah, I'm having similar problems. There don't seem to be any defined wrap points for fonts; they just stomp all over each other. Silly problem to be having, really.

RE: The Operational Art of War III receives a final update… and a sequel!

Wow, that's great news (on both versions)! This is a game I've been wanting to see upgraded for years. Definitely on my "must buy" list.

I find the trick is to set as much of your cities to "fluff" production (textiles or goods or appliances)as possible while nursing a few cities at a time untill you get enough of a bankroll to build things. always finding that I cannot build ...

RE: Worth another look

<t> Agreed - I bought it as well, despite being very unimpressed with the 1st version a while back. This looks a lot better, though the lack of a comprehensive manual is going to really hurt their ability to reach out to a new pool of players; I hope that gets fixed soon. I'm definitely hitting some ...

<t> Excellent - I think those posts answer my core question. Much appreciated! <br/>

I must simply have very short-ranged air units in 1933, as there is no right-click functionality at ALL for any of my air units when I get over a base. The interface for this is really bad - it should at ...

RE: Re-basing Air units?

<t> How did you hop-scotch them? I've tried everything I can think of to get a squadron to actually move from one base to another - even next door - and there's no indication they can do so. Maybe they are just REALLY short ranged in 1933?<br/>

Re-basing Air units?

So, I see you can re-base air units to carriers, but what about from one land base to another? Do they have to be built and kept on an airfield forever, or am I missing something really obvious? The "manual" was obviously no help...
