How do I check which ports my router is using? And the router's external IP address , not the IP address of the machine?(I could never get the old CC5 to work multiplayer either)

i'M HAVING NO SUCCESS CONNECTING WITH A FRIEND ON TCP ointernet multiplayer or via Gameranger even thoughwe have both downloaded patch 4.30.14b
Any ideas what I should try next?

Whatever we do, a friend and I simply cannot link up this close combat game for multiplayer, even though we haveboth downloaded the 450.14b patch (which I think is the latest)
Can anyone suggest what we can do??
