I just purchased this game and the DLCs won't load because my main game is out of date. When I run the Check for Update on the main menu it knows 1.1.9 is out there but when I have it install, I get the following error

(Unable to download file)
(An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file ...

I was looking through the manuel and I am not seeing any reference to the HQ Buildup option. How does it work? How close do my units have to be to the HQ to take advantage of it? Any help would be great.

Great post, I have owned this game for years and with all the patches that have come out and other tweaks in this game I find out something new all the time. Thanks for the info.
