I've never had trouble loading aircraft onto xAKs using a regular transport TF. Have you tried that instead of an aircraft transport mission?

I believe that the components also need to me at the same location within the hex as well. In other words one of the sub units cannot have moved, say, 15 miles towards another hex while the others have not.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll probably continue to use search arcs though not as much as I have done so far, and see if I can discern how effective they are.

Yes, I have put a percentage of the Sqd on search and the rest on naval attack. It would be pointless to put the rest of the Sqd on rest as the whole reason for the search is to get the planes to attack targets they find within that search arc.<br/>

Thanks guys - I guess I'll try the refuel at sea option.

The transports were not unloading small amounts of fuel as there fuel capacity is topped off at the end of each turn.
